The City’s new Deferred Compensation Plan provider TIAA-CREF has scheduled consultant visits to Headquarters and each of the District Chief’s stations to conduct one-on-one sessions with individual members of the Department.
These meetings are open to all active and retired employees and are NOT limited to your own work district. Off duty members are welcome to schedule a session at any of the locations and times available. On duty members will need to coordinate scheduling an appointment with their Company Officer and/or District Chief and are encouraged to schedule these meetings in their first due districts.
Members are directed to contact TIAA-CREF directly to schedule their appointment at (800) 732-8353. Appointments will be scheduled between 08:00 and 17:00 on each of the days listed. These preliminary sessions are designed to be relatively short and introductory in nature, and are not intended to be lengthy and comprehensive.

25 February – DFD Headquarters
3 March – Districts 4, 5, and 6
6 March – Districts 2, 3, and 7
11 February – Districts 3, 4, 5, and 6
4 March – Districts 2 and 7
6 February – Districts 3 and 4 |
8 February – Districts 5 and 6
5 March – Districts 2 and 7
